Coquitlam Whole Home Renovation & Addition

Far and away the best
I have worked with
"My wife and I hired Jedan Brothers to build an addition and completely remodel our house.

I have 13 years of experience in the commercial construction market and have dealt with hundreds of contractors. Dan and Jesse are far and away the best I have worked with.

They gave us a very detailed and accurate quote at the outset of the project. Throughout the project, they were always available to answer questions and meet to go over the smallest details. Both Jedan and their subcontractors take great pride in producing high quality work.

We have no reservations in recommending them to anyone doing a renovation project."

Project overview

With sweeping mountain views as its backdrop, this Coquitlam home was extensively renovated and expanded to better serve a growing family. Approximately 750 square feet of new living space was added, while the existing home was transformed with a larger kitchen, walk-in pantry, reworked living spaces and an updated primary suite. The result is a bright, comfortable home that makes the most of both its expanded footprint and remarkable setting.

Renovation details

The renovation centred on creating more space for a growing family while improving the way the home functioned from room to room. An approximately 750 square foot addition significantly expanded the living space, while a restrained material palette and open layout allow the surrounding mountain and treetop views to remain a defining feature of the home.

The kitchen was redesigned around a generous island with extensive quartz work surfaces, two sinks and double wall ovens. A new walk-in pantry provides substantial storage for small appliances, serving pieces and everyday essentials, allowing the main kitchen to remain open and uncluttered.

In the living room, built-in cabinetry conceals entertainment components while a floor-to-ceiling tiled fireplace creates a strong architectural focal point. Continuous flooring, updated millwork and a neutral palette help connect the renovated spaces and give the home a consistent feel throughout.

The renovation also extended into the primary suite and bathrooms. The ensuite was designed with a double vanity, tiled bathing area and a calm, neutral palette, creating a more spacious and comfortable retreat while maintaining the clean aesthetic carried throughout the home.
