We specialize in whole-home and large-scale renovations, custom home builds, home additions and high-end kitchen renovations that go beyond updating a space to creating one that genuinely fits your family’s life.
Depending on the needs of your project, we bring together a hand-picked team of respected Greater Vancouver architects, engineers, interior designers, and trades, serving homeowners throughout White Rock, Surrey, Langley, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Moody and surrounding communities.
From the first design conversation to the final walkthrough, we work closely with these partners to deliver the craftsmanship and care that ensure your family will love your new space for years to come.
Dan and Jesse Klassen grew up on construction sites, spending their summers working with their dad in his construction business, framing houses and learning the trade from the ground up.
In 2007, they took everything they’d learned and started Jedan Brothers with a simple belief: that Greater Vancouver families deserved a better renovation and custom home experience. Not just a better build, but a team that values the relationship as much as the result.
Two decades later, the same values that got them started still guide everything they do: relationships first, integrity in everything, built to last.
Renovating your space or building a custom home is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make. That’s why our work is guided by a simple commitment: to treat every home like it’s our own.
That commitment shapes our process—from the way we price your project to how we communicate, manage our partners, and stand behind the finished result. For every project, expect:
Custom Home
“Working with Jedan Brothers was a fantastic experience. They helped us build a beautiful multi-generational home that perfectly accommodates our entire family.
What stood out most was their communication and genuine customer service. They kept the project moving efficiently, finished within a very reasonable timeframe, and were reliably on-site every day unless waiting on inspections.
Every team member was respectful, professional, and a pleasure to have in our home. We’re very grateful and would highly recommend them without hesitation.”
Main Floor Renovation
“I loved everybody that came into my house. Every single person was so professional and respectful.
They were clean and tidied up after themselves. It was as smooth as a renovation could possibly have been, especially for this magnitude.
Another thing I loved about Jedan Brothers is that they rolled with the changes that I made along the way without making it a big deal.”
Whole Home Renovation
“We planned an extensive home renovation which encompassed the entire upper two floors. Jesse and Dan were very attentive to ensuring the finished product met our standards and expectations. They demonstrated great flexibility during uncertain times as our renovation took place during the pandemic and were quick to respond to any issues or problems. We are so happy with the finished product and would definitely enlist the services of the Jedan Brothers in the future.“
Main Floor Renovation
“We are extremely pleased with the renovation Jedan Brothers did on our home. The workmanship is top quality and the results are beautiful.
From the start, Dan and Jesse earned our confidence, clearly explaining the process, providing a proposed budget and timeline, and patiently answering our questions.
As the work progressed and different options came up, Jesse discussed the implications of each one while Dan presented the costs, so we could make decisions confidently. The timeline and budget came in exactly as promised.
Dan and Jesse were professional, friendly, and kind throughout the process. They were quick to respond to our questions and we could count on them to be honest. The tradespeople they brought in were a pleasure to have in our home. Ryan and Steve in particular went out of their way to be helpful. We happily recommend Jedan Brothers to anyone who asks.”
Renovation & Addition
“Dan, Jesse, and their crew did an amazing job on our home renovation. They were professional throughout, considering every aspect of the project: from costs to comfort to finish. The words “not possible” never came up when we had a request.
Cost will always be a factor in a project like this, but we always had a choice, and when we decided to go ahead with something, it was completed with exceptional quality and workmanship. We were briefed on every additional cost before it happened, with regular schedule updates and progress photos throughout.
Dan and Jesse were always quick to respond. Not once did I wait long for an answer. It was a pleasure working with Jedan Brothers, and I’m truly grateful for the hassle and worry-free experience for a project this size.”
Renovation & Addition
“My wife and I hired Jedan Brothers to build an addition and completely remodel our house.
I have 13 years of experience in the commercial construction market and have dealt with hundreds of contractors. Dan and Jesse are far and away the best I have worked with.
They gave us a very detailed and accurate quote at the outset of the project. Throughout the project, they were always available to answer questions and meet to go over the smallest details. Both Jedan and their subcontractors take great pride in producing high quality work.
We have no reservations in recommending them to anyone doing a renovation project.”
Every project starts with a conversation.
We’d love to talk about how we can help you build or transform the home that fits the way you live.
Steve has been with Jedan Brothers for 16 years. As a Level 3 Carpenter, he handles framing, finishing, and site maintenance. He also serves as the point of contact between clients and trades on site.
He was introduced to carpentry and general contracting by his grandfather, and has spent the better part of two decades building on that foundation. He’s known for his finishing work and attention to detail.
Steve thrives on the variety of the work at Jedan Brothers. No two projects are the same, and he welcomes the new challenges each one presents.
Outside of work, he can usually be found at the billiard table or out on the trails with his partner.
Ryan brings 26 years of construction and home renovation experience to Jedan Brothers, specializing in finish carpentry. In his six years with the team, he’s built a reputation for the care he puts into his work and the communication he maintains between clients, trades, and everyone on site.
Working alongside skilled trades for over two decades has given Ryan a deep appreciation for every step of the process and every person involved in it. But it’s the client relationship that he values most.
Ryan is passionate about growth, both in his craft and as part of a team that pushes him to be better.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. After 15 years coaching minor hockey, he’s thrilled to be coaching his own sons’ teams.
Overseeing site operations, Jesse is the consistent presence clients can rely on throughout their builds. He keeps schedules on track, maintains quality at every stage, stays on top of the details, and makes sure clients are always up to date.
Jesse has spent decades refining the operational systems that keep projects running smoothly and on schedule. He’s known for catching what others miss and solving problems before clients ever feel them. That same attention extends to the way he runs sites, holding teams to a standard of professionalism and respect that clients notice, from the way the crew conducts themselves to how the site is maintained throughout a build.
He values the relationships this work creates and brings the same calm, respectful approach to every interaction with clients, trades, and partners. For Jesse, how a project runs matters as much as how it finishes.
Outside of Jedan Brothers, Jesse races competitively as part of a cycling team and enjoys spending his downtime outdoors with his wife and four young kids.
Dan is your first point of contact when you work with Jedan Brothers. He oversees every client relationship from the initial conversation through to project completion, building detailed budgets, walking clients through the full process, and making sure every question has been answered before work begins.
A Red Seal Carpenter with decades of experience in residential construction, he brings a depth of technical knowledge that shows up in the precision of his budgets and the confidence in his recommendations. He’s selective about the partners Jedan Brothers brings into projects, working only with designers, architects, and trades he and Jesse trust to meet the standard every project demands.
Dan believes doing this work well starts with respect, and that comes through in the way he works with clients, his team, and partners.
Outside of Jedan Brothers, Dan’s wife and three boys keep him busy—hiking, travelling, and staying active together.
