On Saturday April 23, 2016 the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association (GVHBA) held its 7th Annual Ovation Awards Gala at the Vancouver Marriot Pinnacle Downtown Hotel. The Awards Gala highlighted the best projects built, renovated, designed and marketed by GVHBA members.
Among the top projects was Jedan Brothers Contracting’s Lonsdale Getaway project, which was nominated for the Best Renovations – Under $100,000 award. The project was among the three best projects in its category and was recognized as an award finalist.
The Lonsdale Gateway project was a full, high end condo renovation in North Vancouver. The entire kitchen was transformed from an old, outdated kitchen into a new, modern, tuxedo style kitchen complete with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, additional storage space and a functional layout. Hardwood flooring was installed throughout the home, as well as new trim, baseboards and crown molding. Solid core white oak doors were stained to match the flooring, and the living space contained a reconfigured fireplace with a mantle. The ensuite and main bathroom were also remodelled to include modern frameless glass, giving the appearance of a larger bathroom.
