We retained Jedan Brothers Contracting (JBC) for extensive renovations of our home based on good reviews of their work. The renovations involved the kitchen, four washrooms, some structural modifications, adding a deck, hardwood flooring on all levels, etc. From developing the scope of the renovations, the contract signing, working with their preferred interior designer, Laura Grist Interiors, getting various permissions from agencies, etc, JBC were thoroughly professional, open and transparent. The work was done exactly within the agreed upon timeframe and the quality of their workmanship was superb. They were responsive to our every need and ideas. All our friends are highly impressed and cannot believe how our house has been transformed!

I loved everybody that came into my house. Every single person was so professional and respectful. They were clean and tidied up after themselves. Our team at Copper Mountain Electric has been working for them for years and their projects are always at the top of our list when it comes to detail oriented, high quality, beautiful projects. We just finished our second project with Jedan Brothers – first two bathrooms and now an extensive full main floor renovation, including internal and external structural changes and a new deck. Jedan Brothers Contracting recently completed a fairly extensive renovation of our home (two bathrooms, entryway, laundry area, recreation room, HVAC, heat pump and new attic insulation). We are very pleased with the work that was done and can highly recommend this highly accredited local company. From the initial consultation right through to the end of the project Dan and Jesse were highly professional, transparent and knowledgeable. There were a number of JBC workers and other sub-contractors involved, and all were respectful and highly skilled. Communication was quick and effective, and everything was explained clearly as the job progressed. Any little problems or concerns that cropped up (as they always do in a large project) were dealt with effectively. As they told us in the beginning, they would not be happy with the job until we were happy, and they meant it. Our house has been beautifully transformed. Thank you Dan and Jesse!

Dan, Jesse and their crew did an amazing job with our home remodeling. They are extremely professional throughout and considers every aspect from costs to comfort to finish with regards to our project. The words “not possible” never came up when we had a request. Obviously cost will be an issue at some point, but you always have a choice, and if you decide to get it done, you can be assured that they will complete the task(s) with the highest quality and workmanship. Throughout the project, we were briefed on every aspect that requires additional cost before they hit, and a schedule and photos of the job as it progresses were updated regularly. When I had a question, Dan and Jesse were quick to provide me with answers, and never once was I not able to get a timely response. It was a pleasure working with Jedan Brothers and I’m truly glad that they were able to provide me with a hassle and worry free experience for a project as big as ours.

Our renovation was large and costly and Dan and Jesse and their team made the whole stressful process easy with their constant communication, consultation and willingness to entertain our ideas and desires. Their organization, workmanship and high standards ensured that the final product was of a very high quality and durability and we trust that our home will definitely stand the test of time. 



While there were some hiccups along the way and things always costing more than you think, I honestly felt our project progressed well and was on time and on budget for the most part (there are always unexpected things that crop up during construction). Issues were dealt with quickly and openly and Dan and Jesse definitely made sure our satisfaction and happiness was the most important outcome. We never felt brushed off and they patiently spent time explaining lots of things to us and were always happy for us to visit and inspect the work that was going on. Even now, after the job has been finished, they are more than happy to come out and fix or rectify anything that we find as we settle back into our home.

We are pleased to provide this letter of recommendation to Jedan Brothers as well as Dan and Jesse Klassen. We hired them as our general contractor to build a 1,600 sq.ft addition to our home, which included excavation beside the existing structure for a full basement and two levels above. The project cost exceeded half a million dollars.Jedan Brothers provided high quality work and professional management. They distinguished themselves early in the project when they played an instrumental role in the design changes that were necessary to receive the city permit and particularly during the complex excavation phase that was conducted between the existing remaining structure and our neighbour’s house.Perhaps even more important is to inform that Jedan Brothers delivers on their warranty. Some months after the completion of our expansion, a defect was found with the workmanship of one of the sub trades. We are pleased to inform that Jedan Brothers corrected the defect at no cost to us.

As such we have no hesitation in recommending Jedan Brothers for any expansion project particularly for complex, high quality expansion projects.

We hired Jedan Brothers to completely remodel our kitchen. Our old kitchen was very poorly laid out and did not work well for our family of five. With the help of a designer we came up with a beautiful and highly functional space that is a vast improvement from what we had before. The old kitchen was removed right back to the studs, a pocket door was closed in and a pillar was removed. In addition to a brand new kitchen space, new flooring was also installed on the entire main floor. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Jedan Brothers was involved in the project from start to finish. They were very communicative, listened to our needs, kept a tight timeline and did what it took to get the job done. Thus, our project was actually completed two weeks ahead of time.


Their employees and sub-trades they hired on the various aspects of the project were all very professional and I had no problem having them in our home and around my children, as we were living in the home throughout the reno.

My wife and I just had a completely new kitchen and family room with hardwood floors done by two very pleasant men Jesse and Dan of Jedan Brothers Construction after a total demolition which only took three hours. We were very pleased with the workmanship and oversight of the job. The workmen came when they said they would and always finished their part of the work, not going back and forth. Jesse and Dan were always available and took care of every detail and I’m a bit nitpicky. They finished the job one week ahead of schedule, 5 weeks instead of 6. I have been sick and must walk everyday and jesse or dan and the workman always took time out of their day to accomoany me. I have no hesitation in recommending their company to anyone and incidentally the price was reasonable, not cheap, ” you get what you pay for.”
