Ponte Home Featuring Wine Rack
Even when temperatures drop, there’s always one good thing about the cold weather: cozying up around a fireplace. And this family, who plans on spending lots of time in their newly-designed family room, it’s important that the fireplace looks as good as it feels. With new custom cabinetry, the new 47” linear gas fireplace fits the bill: stunning and delivering big functional improvements over the old system.
But the fireplace magic didn’t stop there. The new dining room now features a 50” electric fireplace surround with tile and custom dark stained wood framing the entire setup. The family can now enjoy the flickering warmth of a glowing fire throughout the entire, open-space main floor, including the view from the front door into the dining room. Adding sophistication and interest, a wine rack set into the tiled wall completes the look.
In the kitchen, a rich, dark theme is carried over to bring unity across each of the living spaces of the home’s first floor. The dark stained Shaker cabinets, including the soft-close recycling center and sliding full-height pullout pantry drawer, reflect the rich dark tones found in the fireplace surround in the family room. Sleek gray Ceasarstone quartz countertops with waterfall edge, that match the stainless steel appliances, bring clean lines and a uniform look to the massive center island. Tankless hot water for the island sink ensures ample storage. To soften the sleek industrial gray tones of the island, the mosaic tile kitchen splash is done in a herringbone pattern, adding the right amount of dazzle.
